In November 2024 The Opportunity received a grant of 600,000 ISK from the Mental Health Fund (Styrktarsjóður geðheilbrigðis). The grant is meant to cover peer education and other optional costs, such as leisure activities, on our courses. We are wholeheartedly grateful — a grant like this makes all the difference in our work.
On 14 November one group finished the course, and a job search lies ahead for several of the young people. We hope to continue in the new year — because The Opportunity gives participants countless opportunities.
